LET'S FLY
I had thought that, by the time this newsletter was published, I would be able to tell you about my airplane ride. Jim Lonergan, who lives near Doylestown, owns a beautiful open cockpit bi-plane and gives rides over Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Bucks County that can even include aerobatic maneuvers. Not many of my New Hope friends know that I used to take flying lessons ages ago (when I was in my twenties.) I haven't been in a single engine plane in many years but jumped at the chance to go flying again. Although we won't be doing the aerobatics on the first ride, I hope to be able to fly the plane a bit once we are up in the air.
Three times we've been unable to fly because of the high winds. We are going to try again next Monday. I will report back on my adventure! Oooh-weeeee!

The previous month I received several tributes for Moms. I have only received one tribute for Dad. Let's let our Dads know we love them - send in more tributes please!
