Winter Festival
2006
by Marilyn Bullock
Once again, the first weekend in February (1-5) celebrates
the annual Lambertville/New Hope Winter Festival. This
year the festival begins on Wednesday, February 1 and
continues throughout the weekend.
Note that local artist Jan
Lipes continues to let Winter Festival use his print,
Free Bridge Sister Towns, as its logo. Several
years ago the original painting was auctioned at Winter
Festival. Prints are available from the artist jlipes@voicenet.com. Events will offer great
food, entertainment - Al Stewart is performing on
Friday evening, children’s activities,
music, a parade, and lots of fun! Festival Brochures
are available at businesses around town. Events are
selling out quickly, so make your plans now to join
the festivities!
