The Riverside Symphonia presents Lara St. John and Marie- Pierre Langlamet

On Sunday, February 26, celebrated violinist Lara St. John and Marie-Pierre Langlamet, principal harpist of the Berlin Philharmonic, will perform selections from their new album, Bach Sonatas.  

This is Lara St. John’s third foray into Bach.  Her first two have met with resounding success and positive critical acclaim and Bach Sonatas promises to reach a new level of originality and beauty. “Lara St. John happens to be a volcanic violinist with a huge fabulous tone that pours out of her like molten lava. But what makes her so unique is the way she puts everything together,” says the LA Times, 2011.  Lara St. John also happens to be a favorite of local music afficiandos. 

Lara St. John and Marie-Pierre Langlamet will tour together nationally to promote their new CD and that tour begins on February 26 in Lambertville, NJ at the Church of St. John the Evangelist. This chamber concert program, Basically Bach, presented by the Riverside Symphonia, includes works of Bach as well as pieces by Saint Saens, Schubert and Sebastian Currier.
